Steven K. Neufeld, MD
Orthopedic Medicine and Surgery

Dr. Steven K. Neufeld is a Board Certified Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in the foot and ankle. He has an academic appointment at Georgetown University and is on the staff at Virginia Hospital Center, and Inova Fairfax, Alexandria, & Mt. Vernon Hospitals. In addition, he works at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC and serves as an orthopedic consultant to the Inova Wound Healing Center. Dr. Neufeld is a native of Pittsburgh, PA. After receiving an Engineering degree from the University of Pittsburgh, he attended medical school at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia., PA. He then completed a 5-year orthopedic surgery residency at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and went on to complete a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

Lee Firestone, DPM
Podiatric Medicine and Surgery

Dr. Lee E. Firestone received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his surgical residency training at The Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC where he was chief resident in Podiatric Surgery. He is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. Dr. Firestone has been in practice since 1994.

Kathleen Fink, MD
Pain Management

Dr. Kathleen Fink, is board certified in physical medicine & rehabilitation and pain management. Dr. Fink specializes in pain, musculoskeletal/sports medicine, fluoroscopic spine injection techniques, occupational medicine (including Independent Medical Evaluations) and performing arts. Dr. Fink completed postgraduate training and fellowship at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. Her continuing education has expanded to include acupuncture with training from the UCLA Medical acupuncture course for physicians.

Michael Theodoulou, DPM
Podiatric Medicine and Surgery

Dr. Michael Theodoulou has been a practicing podiatric surgeon in the Washington DC area for the past seventeen years. He is board certified by both the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics. He has notable interest and experience in the care of sports related injuries, diabetic limb salvage and the management of congenital and acquired foot and ankle deformities. He is a clinical instructor in the Department of Orthopedics at Georgetown University.

John F. Dombrowski, MD
Pain Management

Dr. John Dombrowski began his career by obtaining a medical degree from Georgetown University and receiving residency training from Yale University in internal medicine and anesthesiology. He is board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine and is a licensed acupuncturist as well. Dr. Dombrowski is currently an associate professor at Georgetown University Pain Center, where he teaches residents one day a week. He is also past president of the District of Columbia Society of Anesthesiologists and on the Board of Directors at the American Society of Anesthesiologists.

Louis E. Levitt, MD
Orthopedic Medicine and Surgery

Dr. Louis Levitt, is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and Board Certified Independent Medical Examiner with advanced training in orthopedic trauma. He received his Master’s Degree in Psychology from Boston University. Dr. Levitt attended medical school at the Medical College of Virginia and completed his general surgery rotations and orthopedic residency training at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore with a special interest in orthopedic trauma.

Marc B. Danziger, MD
Orthopedic Medicine and Surgery

Marc Danziger. is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Boston University with a BA degree in Medical Sciences and earned his medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Danziger completed his internship and orthopedic residency at Boston University Medical Center and then went on to complete additional fellowship training in sports medicine and shoulder and elbow surgery.

Mark J.Scheer, MD
Orthopedic Medicine and Surgery

Dr. Mark Scheer is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with advanced Fellowship training in sports medicine. His subspecialties of interest are knee and shoulder reconstructive surgery. Dr. Scheer graduated Cum Laude from Tulane University and graduated with honors from the Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Scheer completed his general surgery internship at The Mount Sinai Medical Center and the New York University Medical Center. He completed his pediatric orthopedic surgery rotation at the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children and his orthopedic surgery residency at the New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases. He completed his Fellowship training in sports medicine at the Southern California Center for Sports Medicine and served as an Orthopedic Team Physician for the California State University of Long Beach.

James F. Barter, MD
Gynecology and Surgery

Recognized as one of the country's leading gynecologists by Good Housekeeping, Dr. Barter, previously, a professor at Lombardi Cancer Institute and in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Gynecologic Oncology at Georgetown University Hospital, is now in private practice in the Washington DC area. He received his medical degree from The University of Virginia and completed his internship and residence in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Duke University Medical Center followed by a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Alabama Medical Center.

Dr. Barter was listed in the Washingtonian as Top Doc and recently chosen as Top Doc in Northern Virginia this year. In addition, Dr. Barter has a particular interest pelvic surgery, laparoscopy, Proteomics as a new marker for Ovarian Cancer and treatment of Ovarian Cancer.
